Common Task Extreme Costume

Paweł Althamer Poland‘s entry in the Extreme Costume section includes a display of gold costumes presented by the members of Paweł Althamer’s Common Task action, to be held outside the Veletržní Palace. Extreme is the holistic approach to costume. Everything is golden: the baby-suit, shoes, jewellery, bags, briefcases… The performative character of the show rests in the participants’ involvement.

The project was produced by The Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute as part of the Prague Quadrennial 2011.
