Description

The Polish Students Pavilion emerged during the scenographic workshops which, within the framework of the Quadriennial 2007, were organized by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw, in cooperation with the J. Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. The workshops lasted throughout the 2006/2007 academic years, and were attended by about fifty students of scenography from four Polish art schools: the J. Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, and the Academies of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Poznań. The pavilion project, as presented during the Quadriennial, was chosen from amongst many others and executed by students working together. Within the framework of these student presentations, five other projects which were awarded during the competition for best graduate work in scenography from 2003–2006, will also be shown. The competition was organized by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw.

The project was produced by The Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute as part of the Prague Quadrennial 2007.

Financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
